High School Charity Tournament
The 2003 Junior/Senior High School Team Charity Tournament was exciting from start to finish. Wilson High School of the District came from behind to nip Chantilly (Virginia) High School which had led from the start. There was a tight battle for the contest to determine the Middle School champion between Kilmer (Vienna, VA) and Rocky Run (Centreville, VA) with Kilmer winning by half a point.
Three students of the 68 who entered won all four games: Dung Vu (Wilson HS), Victor Caraballo (Bell Multicultural) and Jaidev Raghunath (Chantilly). As always, hunderds of pounds of canned food was collected for charity.
