Fixed Team Tournament
Well over 100 kids formed 29 teams to compete in the Fixed Team tournament. Ordinarily in this event, students from kindergarten through twelfth grade for teams of four players to compete. This year, the winning team included a player who will enter kindergarten the following year. Watch out!
The following players won all four of their games: Byron Hood, Gregory Barbieri, Alissa Perman, Darwin Li, Ben Krause, Shinseku Uesugi, Alex Yohai, John Mehler, Javier Ledesma, and three of the four players on the winning Small Masters team, Sarah Mehler, Sophia Mortensen and Jeevan Karamsetty, barely five years old.
