The day after Halloween there was no fear at the Center as 83 students piled in to trick their opponents and treat themselves to some excellent chess.

Grades 7-12 Section:

Andrew Nelson had a great result, winning the 38 player section with a perfect 4-0 score.

Grades 4-6 Section:

Edward Hsieh swept aside the other 32 players to post the only 4-0 score.

Kindergarten - Third Grade Section:

Unrated Alex Ball, who just started playing tournament chess this fall, won the section with four wins, no losses.
